Bad hair days are inevitable for women. They signal a date to the salon, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, this may not be possible.

If you do not have time to get mini twists done or do them yourself, you can opt for natural hair cornrows but if time does not allow, you can opt to tie turbans.

How to tie your turban

  • Fold your scarf into a triangle or rectangle and wrap it on your head in the direction you want the knot to be, either front or back.
  • With the two ends being of the same size, tie them together to form a knot.
  • Take one end, twist it, then wrap it around from the front to the back of your head and tuck it inside the scarf at the back of the knot. Do the same for the other end.
  • With this, you have a two strands turban.
  • You can change it up depending on whether you want the two strands turban or a one-strand turban which will require you to twist both ends together into one twist strand.
  • You can also wrap the strands around the knot whether at the back or at the front.
  • Accessorize the turban and your look.
  • Have fun as you tie the turban and play around with different styles before you settle on one.
