Former rugby star turned chef Dennis Ombachi, popularly known as the Roaming Chef, has once again stirred the internet with a creative fusion of food and art.
In his latest cooking video, Ombachi teamed up with Tanzanian music star Alikiba for a flavorful celebration of culture, music, and shared artistry.
In a video shared on his social media pages, Ombachi is seen preparing an exquisite spread that blends African authenticity with refined creativity.
The menu featured lemon and herb grilled chicken, mchicha wa nazi, and lemongrass and herb grilled fish alongside ugali, a feast that mirrors the balance of rhythm and flavour that defines his culinary artistry.
Ombachi paired the meal with Alikiba’s new single, Sella, calling it a reminder that real music never fades.

“Every dish had its own melody, every bite a verse,” Ombachi wrote while drawing a poetic connection between his craft and Alikiba’s timeless musical storytelling.
“Because whether rhythm or recipe, true art always brings people together.”
The famous chef prepared the chicken and fish while Tanzanian star Ali Kiba was on ugali duty.
