A highly placed official in the current administration is a wonder of nitpickers. The man has been seemingly condescending towards members of the public when confronted with issues affecting them. If he is not hurling insults at them, he is rudely dismissing their concerns or arrogantly telling them off. Is it a case of absolute power corrupting absolutely or is it his personality and no one can do anything about it? Whatever it is that he is going through, the man needs to learn a thing or two about compassionate leadership and humility. A governor from Western is said to be working hard to serve a single term in office for fighting his predecessor. Locals were overheard complaining that the man is using a political figure associated with odd polity to execute the onslaught against the former county boss. The lot wants the new big man reminded that he wouldn’t have won the seat were it not for the former county chief, arguing that he (the new governor) had no political clout. Their other beef is that the new guy has not shown signs of continuing in the footsteps of his predecessor who is hailed for transforming the county a great deal.

Speaking of county chiefs, one from a region after every 2027 hopeful has confounded his allies and rivals with his silence. The man recently sparked talk after missing out on key events by his sponsoring political party amid queries about his loyalty. Party honchos who attended a second major political meeting the fellow missed were overheard saying they have trouble understanding the politico as they can’t tell his moves. In the era of defections, they believe the fellow may have as well crossed over and gone to bed with their rivals.
