Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi on Thursday attended the inaugural Nairobi Environmental Diplomacy Symposium.

Mudavadi presided over the symposium which was held at the University of Nairobi.

The symposium seeks to discuss various topics such as the Pact for the Future, outcomes of major environmental conferences (COP16 to CBD, COP16 to UNCCD, COP29, and INC-5), and the road to UNEA-7 and beyond.

Environment and Climate Change PS Festus Ng’eno and his Foreign Affairs counterpart Korir Sing’Oei were all in attendance.

Other officials present in the symposium include the Eritrea Ambassador to Kenya Beyene Russom, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps UN-HABITAT Regional Office of Africa Oumar Sylla and Leonida Kerubo from the University of Nairobi.
