Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Friday brought Embu town to a standstill.

This followed his visit on Friday evening to listen to the concerns of residents who have been complaining of increasing insecurity.

Kindiki assured residents that the government has responded firmly to their outcry and will ensure the town’s safety is restored.

During the visit, the DP interacted with residents doing business in Embu town including small scale traders and large retailers.

In one instance, he even gets his shoes cleaned as he talked to residents.
