
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki hosts a section of MPs from
the Mt Kenya region at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi/DPCS
The meeting held at his official residence in Karen was to assess progress made in the implementation of development programmes in their constituencies.
The leaders discussed the completion of ongoing infrastructural development projects such as roads, last-mile electricity connections, water reticulation, markets, and county aggregation and industrial parks in the region.
Other issues discussed during the meeting include value addition programmes for agricultural products and partnerships between MPs and the national government on availing education infrastructure.

He added that should they choose politics, the region will lose three years of life-changing opportunities.
“Focus the region more on development and not politics to avoid a three-year loss of opportunities,” Kindiki said.
