A senior official of a constitutional commission is in the spotlight for allegedly issuing appointment letters in funerals and other social events in his home area in Western Kenya. Residents are reportedly angered by the man, who attends almost all social events and demands to be allowed to speak. It is after addressing the gatherings that the official hands out appointment letters. Word is that the official will contest an elective seat in 2027 and wants to look good in the eyes of the electorate.
