Kalonzo to meet Kikuyu elders

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is today expected to meet the Kikuyu Council of Elders.

The meeting is part of his wider political strategy to gain influence among the Kikuyus ahead of 2027.

It will be held in Kiambu.

Gachagua in Kilifi 

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will today deliver a public lecture at the Pwani University in Kilifi.

Gachagua recently launched an initiative to mentor young people under the Rigathi Gachagua Foundation.

He will also have an interaction with the students on scaling the leadership ladder.

Matatu Owner's road safety campaign

Matatu Owners' Association (MOA) to conduct a road safety clinic for public vehicles at Kasarani police station.

NTSA officials, Traffic police and Matatu Sacco representatives from Nairobi will be in attendance.

MOA chairperson  Albert Karakacha will address the press thereafter.

Insurance supervisors meet

The East African Association of Insurance Supervisors will its five-year strategic plan covering 2024-2029.

Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung'u will grace the event to be held at the College of Insurance, South C.

Ex-MP Thuo murder case

The court will today deliver its judgment in the murder of former Juja MP George Thuo.

Kelvin Kangethe case

The Court is set to issue further directions in the matter of Kelvin Kangethe who is wanted in the US over the murder of his girlfriend.

Rwanda genocide

Rwanda will today commemorate the 30th anniversary of genocide against the Tutsi.

The Rwandan embassy in Nairobi will hold a conference, which precedes the 100-day National Genocide Commemoration beginning on April 7th, which will provide an opportunity to examine Rwanda's 30-year journey of unity, reconciliation and progress.

The conference will be held at KICC with various panelists including High Commissioner of Rwanda to Kenya Martin Ngoga and PLO Lumbumba among those to speak.
