The 35-year-old has been missing since last weekend.

Her body was discovered Thursday evening after her colleagues visited her house.

It is not clear if she was sick. A used syringe was found beside her half-naked body, police said as they removed it to the mortuary.

The woman worked as a cash officer.

Police had to use a welder to break into her house where the body was found lying on the bed across facing sideway with legs touching the floor.

The body had no visible injuries but blood was oozing from the mouth, police said.

An autopsy is planned on the body to establish the cause of the death, police said.

Police officers who rushed to the scene found two iron sheet-made houses flattened with the two bodies inside.

Police said they are investigating if the incident was an arson or accidental.

Elsewhere in Kibera, the body of a 55-year-old woman was found on the roadside.
