A church minister, Rev Josiah Kirisua, survived death after his car lost control along the Konza Road on Sunday.

The car Kirisua was driving towards Isinya town in Kajiado County burst its rear trye forcing it to roll four times.

After the accident, he was picked up by a good Samaritan and taken to the Kajiado County Referral Hospital where he was booked in the hospital’s ICU.

“I have been discharged from the ICU this morning. I am now feeling better. I am happy that I broke no bone,” Kirisua told the Star on Tuesday.

He said he was taken to the hospital while unconscious, and only found himself in the hospital ward many hours later.

“My great worry was losing my limbs. After the trye burst, my car flew up in the air and when it hit the ground, it rolled four times,” said Kirisua.

The doctors at the hospital said the ACK church priest was lucky he never broke his legs and ribs.

Doctors said they booked him in the ICU because he had lost consciousness.

Kirisua said he was traveling to Isinya’s St Patrick ACK Church for a consecration service when the accident happened.

“This is a miracle that I survived. This is God’s mercy, and thank Him for that. I am greatly touched by His mercy,” said Kirisua.
