Vihiga Governor Wilber Ottichillo has called on Kenyans to support President William Ruto in his bid to deliver on his campaign promises.

Speaking during interdenominational service in Bungoma on Sunday, Ottichilo termed Ruto as a unique President and a scientist who is systematic and clear in what he does.

He said governors from the Western region had decided to work and walk with Ruto saying politics had ended and it was time for leaders to deliver on the promises they made to Kenyans.

“Kenyans I want to assure you we have a unique President and unique in the sense that he is a scientist and for us scientists, we are very systematic and very clear in what we do,” he said.

“Let us support our President, he has good intentions, I don’t think this country has had a better President than the current President,” he added.

He noted that since Ruto took over, counties have been able to receive their full shareable revenue allocations adding that it was a sign the President is ready to support devolution.

He further said the coming Africa Climate Change Summit to be hosted in the country will give the continent a chance to have a stand on matters climate change.

“I have had a chance to be with him in international forums. In south Africa while addressing the African parliamentarians I can assure you when he spoke the whole parliament stood and said the meeting was over and they will follow what the President has said.”

Also present during the service are DP Rigathi Gachagua, Busia Governor Paul Otuoma, Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa and Bungoma Governor  Kenneth Lusaka.
