Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has warned their negotiators in the bipartisan committee against being influenced in whatever way by their opponents.

Kalonzo told the members to remain firm and committed so that they deliver on the aspirations of the Azimio la Umoja noting those who fail the test will be recalled.

“When you get out there...and, we see your body language is changing we shall recall you unapologetically,” Kalonzo asserted.

He was speaking during the ongoing Azimio la Umoja parliamentary group meeting at Stoni Athi in Machakos.

The Raila Odinga-led camp was expected to name members that will represent it in the negotiations with a view to finding a solution to the restructuring of the IEBC panel.

Kenya Kwanza of President William Ruto is also set to pick its individuals for the panel.

The Wiper leader told the members to constantly consult the leadership over the issues noting “we want nothing but the best for this nation.”

He further called on its members to give support to those who will be picked regardless of their parties.

He at the same time maintained that IEBC servers must be opened as one of the irreducible minimums to the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Kalonzo wondered why President William Ruto has continued to stubbornly refuse to allow for its opening if he is certain he won the 2022 general elections.

“Let the server be opened, if one is clear they won then in fact this is the more reason they should say let this thing be done and don’t make any attempts to tamper with it,” he said.

“Please don’t gerrymander with it because the footprints are firmly known and we will know,” he quipped.

Speaking in Kitui in February, Ruto maintained that the servers have always been open and accessible.

"It is true that when matters went for validation in court, the servers were opened and when the court made a determination of the last general elections, the servers were opened," he said.
