A Cabinet secretary summoned by MPs to shed light on remarks he made during a recent public function is courting trouble. We are told the man has snubbed more than four summonses for unknown reasons. MPs have now vowed to take action against the man who appears unperturbed. Corridors is told that the man made the statement not knowing the repercussion.

If you thought the cold war was over, visit one of the ministry headquarters in Nairobi. A Cabinet secretary and a PS are no longer seeing eye to eye. The two apparently have close relations with the powers that be in the new administration. Our mole confides in us their differences have deteriorated to the extent that the staff have also drawn boundaries between the two offices. No one seems to know what triggered the fallout but some claim it has to do with money.

A ward representative from a Western county is in trouble with colleagues. Our small bird says the MCA, a chairperson of a crucial committee, disappeared with money the governor gave him to spoil other members so as to apparently approve some appointments. However, the honourable member switched off his phone and now only communicates through social media. He recently posted photos online of him having good times outside the country, saying he was enjoying "my sweat". His colleagues were overheard saying he will return to the county and they will hold him to account.
