Former United States of America First Lady Michelle Obama on Thursday urged women to celebrate each other as the world celebrates Women's History this month

Michelle on Twitter recognised that she would not be the woman she is today without strong women in her life. 

"I wouldn't be who I am today without the strong women in my life," she said.

The Former First Lady said her mother, her daughters and friends inspire her daily.

"My mom, my daughters, my girlfriends. They inspire me every day. This Womens History Month let’s celebrate the women in our lives who encourage us to be our best," she said. 

She told women to tag someone who inspires them on Twitter and let them know how much they mean to them.
