In a statement, Ruto said that Kenya and India have shared interests in promoting global stability.

President William Ruto meets the Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla and a delegation of MPs from India’s Upper and Lower Houses at State House, Nairobi on January 17.

"Through investment and trade Kenya and India have promoted economic prosperity. We look forward to working together to advance international peace, tackling climate change and deepening economic ties for the prosperity of the people," Ruto said.
