- According to Raila, the new formula for appointing the electoral body's commissioners by Parliament on Thursday is not about integrity.

ODM leader Raila Odinga has said President William Ruto has started a war with his team.
Raila said the opposition was ready to give Ruto's administration time to deliver its promises to Kenyans before starting off their criticism.
However, he said the removal of the four IEBC commissioners has forced them to talk.
"Tulikua tumesema tutapatia serikali ya Ruto siku mia moja wafanye yale ambayo waliahidi wakenya. Tulitaka kuongea January 15, lakini sasa wametulazimisha. Wameanza kufanya mpango ya 2027," Raila said.
This is loosely translates to," We had agreed to give Ruto's government 100 days to deliver its promises to Kenyans. We wanted to start criticism on January 15, but we are being forced to speak. They have have initiated their 2027 plans."
Raila also claimed that Ruto is planning an early rigging plot of the 2027 election.
His comments come after Ruto suspended the four dissenting IEBC commissioners led by vice chair Juliana Cherera.
In a gazette notice on Friday, the President said their suspension was effective immediately.
The other commissioners are Justus Nyang’aya, Francis Wanderi and Irene Masit.

"The events in Parliament yesterday, on the formula of appointing IEBC commissioners and the hounding of the four commissioners has got nothing to do with integrity, but about 2027," he said.
"Ruto wants to rig 2027 election in 2022. We should not allow this to happen.”
