World's fourth richest woman Mackenzie Scott has filed for a divorce from her second husband Dan Jewett.
The divorce comes after less than two years of marriage with the former science teacher.
New York Times reported that the 52-year-old filed a petition for divorce in the King County Superior Court in Washington State on Monday. Court records show Jewett did not contest the divorce.
Jewett and Scott tied the knot in March 2021 after her divorce from Amazon Jeff Bezos.
She divorced Bezos in 2019 after 25 years of marriage.
According to Forbes, following the divorce, Scott, a philanthropist and an author, received a 25 per cent stake in the online retailer.
She signed the Giving Pledge the same year, promising to give away at least half of her wealth over the course of her lifetime.
She has written two novels; The Testing of Luther Albright and Traps that was published in 2013.
Scott's real-time net worth stands at $34.9 billion (Sh5.2 trillion) as of September 29, according to Forbes.
