Ole Lenku re-elected as Kajiado governor

Jubilee candidate Joseph Nkedienye came in third after getting 75,337 votes.

Incumbent Kajiado governor Joseph Ole Lenku has been reelected to serve for a second and the last term.

He sought re-election on an ODM party ticket.

Lenku managed to get 117,600 votes against his closest competitor Katoo Ole Metito of the UDA party.

Metito garnered  111,725 votes.

Jubilee candidate Joseph Nkedienye came in third after getting 75,337 votes.

In August 2017 Ole Lenku was inaugurated as the second Governor of Kajiado County. 

He ousted Nkedienye who was elected the first governor of the county.
