Chaos erupted at Jamhuri tallying center Nairobi after voters  stopped  attempts to bring in unidentified ballot box.

The commotion was brought about after voters alleged that the two ballot boxes were being brought in for tallying under unclear circumstance.

"We do not Know where the two boxes came from and the  intentions of who delivered them here," Election Observe said.

"Hizo box mbili hatujui zilitoka wapi, ni nani alizileta na nia yao ilikuwa nini."

The election observer said there was question of where the two ballot boxes came from after the other remaining election materials had been delivered immediately after voting.

"Why did it take these two boxes so long to arrive here, when we are almost done tallying" he questioned.

He added that there was also issue with the delayed announcement of results which raised alarm.

"The tally of results was done with a while back but upto now there winner has not been announced," he said.

The delay was termed by the observer as an attempt to rig and manipulate the results.

Those who were round the premises during that time, exchanged harshly with the police officers who were trying to contain the situation.
