
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has listed several high-profile corruption and economic crime cases scheduled for hearing in court this week between May 25 and May 29, 2026.
Among the cases is a land recovery suit involving Kyaloka Property Development Company Limited over land said to belong to KBC.
Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is also expected in court over the alleged irregular award of a Sh147 million road construction tender.
Other matters lined up include the case against former Homa Bay County Assembly Clerk Otieno Bob Kephas over the alleged embezzlement of Sh85.2 million and a procurement irregularities case involving Urbanus Wambua Musyoka linked to a Sh45.4 million tender.
Bomet Governor Hillary Kipng’eno will also appear in court over allegations of conflict of interest, money laundering, and receipt of Sh2.7 million linked to county contracts worth Sh152.3 million.
The hearings form part of ongoing anti-corruption efforts targeting misuse of public resources and abuse of office.
