Inside Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro's Masomo Bora Programme

More than 12,000 senior day school learners in Kiharu constituency will only pay Sh500 per term in fees this year.

MP Ndindi Nyoro made the announcement during the annual launch of Kiharu Masomo Bora programme covering grade 10 and form three and four learners.

Under the programme, learners will continue enjoying free lunch from Monday to Sunday that will include chapatis every last Friday of the month.

Further, the NGCDF kitty will provide Sh10 million to the day secondary schools for revision materials.

An extra Sh50,000 will be provided to support extracurricular activities, ensuring parents are not called upon to give contributions.

The MP also announced that his NGCDF has allocated Sh50 million to construct laboratories and libraries and boost academic performance in the schools.
