Passenger traffic surged across major global hubs in 2024, with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport leading the pack at 108.1 million travellers.
Its dominance reflects Atlanta’s strategic role as a connecting point for both domestic and international flights.
Dubai International Airport followed with 92.3 million passengers, underscoring its status as a global transit gateway linking East and West.
Dallas-Fort Worth and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport also saw impressive volumes, handling 87.8 million and 85.9 million passengers respectively.
London Heathrow rounded out the top five with 83.9 million, maintaining its position as Europe’s busiest airport.
Denver, Istanbul, and Chicago O’Hare completed the top eight, each surpassing 80 million passengers.
