Kenya has recorded steady growth in international visitor arrivals over the past five years, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.

The figures show arrivals rose from 580,000 in 2020 to 871,000 in 2021, before more than doubling to 1.54 million in 2022.

In 2023, arrivals climbed further to 2.08 million, reaching a record 2.39 million in 2024.

This upward trend highlights Kenya’s recovery from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and renewed global confidence in the country as a travel destination.
