Mobile SIM Subscriptions in Kenya have seen steady growth over the period from June 2024 to June 2025.
The number of Mobile Subscriptions (Millions) increased from 68.9 million in June 2024 to 76.7 million by June 2025.
Correspondingly, Mobile Penetration (%)—which measures the widespread use of mobile services—also grew significantly. It began at 133.7% in June 2024 and climbed to 146.3% by June 2025, reaching intermediate levels of 135.8% (Sep-24), 138.5% (Dec-24), and 145.3% (Mar-25).
This upward trend indicates that mobile services are becoming increasingly utilized across the Kenyan population.
