
Several high-profile corruption-related cases are lined up in court this week, from May 19 to May 23, 2025, according to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
Among them is former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, who is facing charges over the alleged unlawful acquisition of public property.
Paul Kipsang will be in court over procurement irregularities, while Lawrence Barasa is accused of forging academic documents.
Josiah Kariuki is being prosecuted for allegedly conspiring to defraud the public through the sale of fake fertiliser.
Lastly, David Ngare is charged with allegedly obtaining money through false pretences.
