Nairobi City police command station recorded the highest reported crimes at 9.6 per cent during the period between 2020 to 2024.
The 2025 Economic Survey shows that 9,717 cases were reported in Nairobi in 2024, up from 5,844 in 2020.
The capital city, the report states, hit an all-time high of 11,108 reported cases in 2023.
Kiambu recorded 8,865 cases in 2024, nearly doubling from 4,353 in 2020.
Meru on the other hand reported 5,487 cases in 2024, up from 1,324 in 2020.
