President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto were unlikely pair in their first joint stab at the Presidency in the 2013 polls.
The polls had been preceded by post-election violence that left many dead and several displaced.
While it seemed impossible for them to work together, because of the post-election violence differences, the two managed to unite their communities and successfully contested for the presidency.
Uhuru and Ruto became bosom buddies after their victory and their bromance was evident in the manner in which they run their government in their first term in office.
But things changed in their second term in office.
