Kenyans on Twitter have made fun of a man who reportedly
witnessed two major accidents in different parts in less than two weeks.
Photographs and clips of Dennis Ngengi emerged on Tuesday following a live interview on Citizen TV.
Ngengi
recounted the accident that claimed the life of Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru.
The man also gave an account of October's Lake
Nakuru chopper crash but later told Citizen he did not witness this incident.
Ngengi wore bluetooth sunglasses - mostly seen on leaders' security personnel, as he recounted the two events on television.
Some members of the public who made fun of him connected their phones and flash disks to sunglasses for the 'bluetooth effect'.
Naomy Niqolas pointed out that there is never a dull moment in Kenya.
'@reins001' said 'Kenyans, you will kill me".
But others asked the public to sympathise with families whose loved ones died in the accidents.
"[This challenge is] funny until you remember people lost their lives and you are making light of it while some of their relatives see it," '@RamzZy_ 4' said.
Steve Raheem wrote: "Instead of seeking answers to the hard questions, millennials are on #EyeWitnessChallenge."
Raheem warned the matter of the witness soon will be forgotten.
"We will move on and he'll reappear again as a witness after another prominent person dies."
