have stepped in, reportedly extorting millions of shillings from hopeful
aspirants by falsely promising party nominations. The individuals are said to
be name-dropping prominent political figures to exploit desperate and
unsuspecting candidates. Reports also suggest that some MCAs and even church
leaders have joined in, acting as intermediaries in the scramble for party
tickets.
