The lawmaker is said to be facing a hard time with his voters after supporting a proposed law that is believed could cause Kenyans frustrations. The MP who has opted for the governor's race come 2027 is said to be still keen on the plan but is watching the ground whether to vie or not. Furthermore, the lawmaker is said to be facing a ticket headache in 2027 as those who were contesting in 2022 are still in power holding the party ticket.
