Divisions have rocked a county assembly in an opposition stronghold after some MCAs allegedly demanded the lion's share of recently advertised tenders. The team, it's said, wants to be given free hand to execute tenders either directly or through proxy companies. Members of the executive are now questioning the situation, this is after the tendering process was supposedly deeply infiltrated by the MCAs to the extent that earmarked proxy contractors are already on the ground working on projects, even before the tenders are awarded. Residents now want the process to be revised to allow authentic businessmen to apply for the tenders.
