Leaders from a county in Rift Valley are said to be plotting to isolate a senior government official who was appointed to the seat after unsuccessfully contesting for a position in the 2022 elections. It is whispered that due to his position, the official boasts of being at the centre of power even after he was defeated. He is accused of blocking his political opponents from accessing top leaders in the Kenya Kwanza administration and fronting those who lost in 2022 to fight those occupying various seat in his county.
