Losing political power can be painful and humbling. Some MPs were heard discussing in low tones the tribulations their leader has had to go through after he lost in the last elections. They said even village politicians now have the audacity to read the riot act to their boss. To add salt to injury, some politicians who were falling over themselves to be associated with him in the last election are now keeping their distance. The discussion was sparked by a recent happening where the said leader was “mistreated” in the very eyes of a beneficiary of his political stewardship. Call it endurance!
