Was it philanthropy gone too far that turned into pain for a deputy governor ? Well, Corridors has learnt that a DG from Western Kenya got the beating of a lifetime after starting a fight he could not sustain during a night out over the weekend. The man known for his drinking problem was buying drinks for his loyalists and everyone else who was inside the high-end bar in the city. Then hell broke loose when one of his colleagues questioned his source of cash and warned that he would soon run broke. The DG , Corridors is told, pounced on the man who immediately overpowered him giving him a beating as other revelers cheered. After dusting himself from the floor the deputy county boss turned to bodyguards who were helping him to the car accusing them of watching and doing little to help the situation.
