The Azimio La Umoja- One Kenya Alliance interviews for the presidential candidate running mate job commenced on Monday.
The panel led by former cabinet minister Noah Wekesa is to interview 11 shortlisted candidates at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi.
Murang'a County Sabina Chege described the interview as a conservatory experience.
"The panel just wanted to know more about me and what strengths I bring to the table," she said after the interview.
The names shortlisted include Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Narc Kenya boss Martha Karua, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth and KANU Chairman Senator Gideon Moi.
Kalonzo said he won't attend.
Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho is also on the list.
Others are Agriculture CS Peter Munya, former Kenyan Ambassador to Australia Stephen Tarus, Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui.
The panel is expected to conclude the interviews on Tuesday and submit three names to ODM chair Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta for final vetting.
