President William Ruto’s schedule this week remained packed with high-impact development engagements, spanning multiple counties and sectors.

From infrastructure launches to legislative milestones and international diplomacy, the president's tour began on Sunday with an interdenominational church service in Suna East.

In his address, he reassured the people of Nyanza and Kenyans at large that the agreement between Kenya Kwanza and the ODM party is focused on collaboration, not political competition.

Ruto said the commitment he made with ODM leader Raila Odinga was driven by the common good of all Kenyans, rather than individual political ambitions.

“There is greater benefit in us collaborating than in competing for individual success,” he said.

He then officially opened the Suna West Sub County office in Piny Oyie and laid the foundation stone for the Suna West Technical and Vocational College, aimed at expanding access to technical training.

Later, he presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the 298-unit Kehancha Affordable Housing Project in Kuria West, affirming his resolve to uplift previously marginalised regions.

"We are committed to uniting our nation to create a conducive environment for economic prosperity. This is irrespective of our political affiliations.
