Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua today hosted businessman and political strategist Jimi Wanjigi at his Wamunyoro residence for talks.
In a post, Gachagua said he held "enriching and informative" consultations on the country's political future.

He noted that the meeting formed part of ongoing consultations aimed at what he described as the "liberation of our country," adding that every opinion and piece of advice was valuable.

"The journey for the liberation of our country is a tough one and every opinion and advice is crucial. But we shall get there. It is a matter of when, not if," Gachagua said after the meeting, noting that consultations would continue.
