June 25 protest aftermath
Attention remains on the aftermath of Wednesday's nationwide Gen Z memorial demonstrations after Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen announced that 355 people were arrested across the country.
The protests saw widespread disruption in Nairobi and several other towns, with police mounting roadblocks, deploying tear gas in some areas and maintaining a heavy security presence.
Authorities are expected to provide further updates on investigations, arrests and the security situation as the country assesses the impact of the demonstrations.
