Kenya is expanding its diplomatic and economic relations across the continent as part of a renewed commitment to regional integration and the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The push, President William Ruto said, seeks to enhance cooperation, boost intra-African trade and promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences among African nations.

“In this effort, African countries are increasingly working together, learning more from one another and exchanging experiences,” he said.
Ruto made the remarks when he met Sao Tome and Principe Prime Minister Americo Ramos at the 7th African Union-European Union Summit, Luanda, Angola.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, exploring new areas of collaboration and aligning development priorities under AfCFTA.
Ruto also extended an invitation to PM Ramos to visit Nairobi early next year, a move expected to pave the way for expanded cooperation agreements.
