The Nairobi City County Government has announced a temporary closure of City Hall Way this weekend to facilitate the activation and launch of the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan.

In a statement released on Friday, the County Secretary and Head of County Public Service in the county said the affected section will run from Parliament Road to Wabera Street, starting 9:00 pm on Friday, November 21, and ending at 11:59 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

“We wish to inform the general public of the temporary closure of City Hall Way from Parliament Road to Wabera Street,” the County Secretary said.

“The closure will allow for the activation and launch of the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan, which requires full access to the road and surrounding space.”

The county has urged motorists and pedestrians to cooperate with traffic officers and marshals who will be deployed in the area.

“We advise all road users to follow guidance from traffic marshals who will be on site to direct movement and ensure safety,” the statement added.

The county apologised for any inconvenience the closure may cause.

“We regret any inconvenience caused and thank members of the public for their patience and understanding as we support this festive activation,” the County Secretary said.

Normal traffic flow is expected to resume immediately after the event concludes on Saturday night.

In September, the road was also closed to motorists from September 27 at 7:00 AM until Sunday, September 28 at 4:00 AM to facilitate the Kenny G Concert at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC)
