

A man was burnt to death in a fire incident at his house in Narok Town.
Police said the Monday morning fire affected several iron-sheet structures. The blaze is believed to have started in one of the structures before spreading rapidly and reducing others to ashes.
It was during the search that the body of Anthony Mwangi was found badly burnt. He was asleep in his house when the fire broke out. Several other families were left homeless.
Police said the cause of the fire is yet to be established. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.
In Olmoran, Laikipia County, a 16-year-old boy was found drowned in a water pan. Police said they are yet to establish the circumstances under which the victim drowned.

Meanwhile, police in Bamburi, Mombasa County are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in her house.
A friend had visited the home and, after repeated calls and texts went unanswered, found the door locked from inside. She alerted police, who arrived and broke into the house, where they found the body of 30-year-old Rehema Karisa lying on her bed.
Police said the body had no visible injuries. They added that the woman lived alone. Her family, who have been informed of the incident, said they want to know the cause of her death. Neighbours said they had not seen her for two days and described her as a quiet person.
