Three county governments across Kenya have announced new job opportunities and board appointments, inviting qualified and experienced individuals to apply before the respective deadlines in November 2025.
Makueni County has advertised nine vacancies. Eight are re-advertised municipal board positions, and one is for County Executive Committee Member, Water, Sanitation and Irrigation.
The municipal board vacancies include two positions for Wote Municipal Board and three positions for Mbooni-Kee Municipal Board; the remaining three municipal board slots are allocated across other municipalities and categories such as professional associations, private sector, informal sector, and neighborhood associations.
Applicants must meet the specified academic, residency, and Chapter Six requirements and must be nominated through the relevant nominating institutions where applicable.

The selection panel for the Vihiga County Public Service Board is recruiting for four positions in total: one chairperson and three members of the County Public Service Board.

Bomet County is inviting applications to fill seven municipal board positions.
The vacancies comprise three individual appointments and four association-nominated seats from registered professionals, the private sector, the informal sector, and neighborhood associations.
Applicants must hold at least a diploma, have a minimum of five years’ professional experience, meet residency requirements, and satisfy Chapter Six of the Constitution.
All applications must be submitted to the Office of the County Secretary or via the county website www.bomet.go.ke by November 13, 2025.
