The national government has announced several job opportunities for interested Kenyans, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) is among the public agencies with current vacancies.
It has re-advertised 45 job positions under the Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience Project for Eastern and Southern Africa. The project is aimed at strengthening regulatory capacity.
To support this objective, PPB is looking to recruit qualified and competent professionals on full-time contracts for a period of eighteen months.
The positions will be based at the PPB headquarters in Nairobi and in regional offices across the country.
The vacancies include 22 positions for Regulatory Officers, five for Biotechnologists, and ten for Biotechnologist Specialists.
In addition, the Board is recruiting one Information Security Specialist, one Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, one Biomedical Engineer, one Biostatistician, one Internal Auditor and Risk Assurance Officer, and three Software Developers.
These roles are essential in enhancing the Board’s regulatory, technical, and scientific functions in line with both regional and international health standards.

The National Housing Corporation (NHC) has announced twelve vacancies for the position of Clerk of Works.
The appointments will be on contract terms for the duration of the assigned project, with a minimum period of six months.
Successful candidates will be deployed to various NHC project sites across Kenya. The consolidated salary for each position is sixty thousand Kenyan shillings per month.
