According to police, the deceased had visited the house of a woman believed to be his girlfriend on Wednesday night when the incident happened.

It was as he was in the house that the assailant, who is also a boyfriend of the woman, suddenly showed up.

This prompted a fight that turned fatal, police said. The woman was helpless as the two men went physical.

The man was hacked and fatally wounded in the head. The assailant and the woman fled the scene after learning he had died, police said.
