Equity Bank has notified customers of a temporary interruption to some of its services as it carries out scheduled system maintenance.

According to the notice, the "send money to other banks" function will be unavailable from Tuesday, 23 September 2025 at 10:00 pm until Wednesday, 24 September 2025, at 4:00 am.

The disruption will affect customers using the service through the Equity Mobile App, Equity Online, EazzyBiz, Equitel, and the USSD code *247#. The bank confirmed that all other services will remain available during the maintenance window.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” Equity said in its statement.

Alongside the announcement, the lender reminded customers to remain vigilant against fraud and cybercrime, stressing that official communication only comes from its verified number: 0763 000 000.
