Kenya’s Sabastian Sawe has extended his perfect marathon record to three wins in three races after storming to victory at the Berlin Marathon on Sunday.

Sawe clocked 2:02:15 in the German capital, sealing the win on what was described as a warm day for distance running.

Sawe is now a marathon winner in Germany,  Valencia Marathon (2024) , where he clocked 2:02:05, and London Marathon (2025), where he clocked 2:02:27.

The performance underlines his growing stature on the global stage, with the Kenyan maintaining an unbeaten streak since making his marathon debut.
