

Traffic flow along the Suswa-Narok Road was interrupted after locals blocked the busy highway to protest the increasing number of accidents in the area.
Police were deployed to negotiate with the group that used stones and twigs to block the road.
The group said accidents have been on the rise on the route and demanded action to address them.
Motorists have been advised to proceed with caution in the area as traffic flow has been disrupted.

On July 13, four people died following a tragic road accident involving a trailer that lost control along the Suswa–Narok road near Nairekia Engare.
The victims of the accident included two motorcyclists, a pedestrian, and a passenger who was aboard the ill-fated trailer.
The accident added to the growing list of accidents on the highway, which has seen increased traffic and road accidents over the past few months.
