
A 23-year-old man has died after he was
fatally stabbed in a domestic fight with his girlfriend at their rented house
in Kware, Nairobi.
Police said Raphael Mutusi succumbed to the stomach stabs at a private hospital two days after the incident.
He died on Monday, August 11, as he was being attended to following the
August 9 incident.
Police said Mutusi and his girlfriend had been involved in an altercation leading to his fatal stabbing.
The woman had also visited him in the hospital. She, however, vanished on learning the man had succumbed.
Nairobi police boss George Seda said police are
looking for the woman for questioning.
The body was moved to
the mortuary pending autopsy and investigations.
In Marereni, Kilifi
County, a woman identified as Kanze Karisa, who had been missing for three days, was found dead in a thicket near her house.
She went missing on
August 9, before the body was discovered on August 11, about 200 meters from her
house.
Police said the body had visible bruises on the thigh and the back. It is suspected she was killed at the scene.
The motive of the murder is yet to be established. A missing
report had been made at the local police station.

And police in Thika
are investigating the murder of a man whose body was discovered near a railway
line in the UTI area.
The body was discovered on August 11 by a worker at the station who was
patrolling the area.
The employee reported he found the decomposing body of a male adult aged about 60 years in a thicket with no signs of struggle at the scene.
No identifying documents were found on him.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and investigations. Police said on Tuesday that they were yet to establish the motive of the murder.
They are also waiting
for the identification process on the body to be completed as part of the probe
into the murder.
Police are struggling to solve the rising murder cases in the country.
