SportPesa Mega Jackpot winner Boniface Kamau has said he will quit his job.
Kamau was announced the winner of the mega jackpot on August 4, 2025, after taking up Sh424,660,718.
Speaking on Wednesday during a celebratory evening, he said he has no plans of going back to his casual job.
"Job ni kama imeisha. Hio imeenda hivo. Hio ni kama imeenda," he said.
Kamau won the mega jackpot after placing correct bets on 17 matches earlier in the year.
He revealed that he has been using SportPesa for the past 10 years, and even after the win, he has no plans of quitting gambling.
Kamau acknowledged the vast amount of money, even as he appeared calm.
He also expressed plans to give back to society alongside his wife, saying the victory was not just about personal gain but also about helping others.
Asked how he will spend the money, Kamau instead shared his mother's advice.
"She told me to go on a vacation and think about what I want," he said.
SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri urged him not to take to heart the many pieces of advice he will receive on how to spend his money
Karauri, however, guided him on what he can do to invest and put his millions to good use.
