    Wamalwa has intimated on the formation of a powerful coalition that he believes will topple President William Ruto from power in the 2027 General Election.

    According to Wamalwa, the formidable force will stage a tough contest against Ruto's administration to take over the nation's reins.

    CS Kagwe to launch plan that will see country double its vaccine production

    Agriculture and Livestock Development Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe will preside over the official launch of the KEVEVAPI 5th Generation Strategic Plan (2023–2027) at FK Resort, Nyeri Town at 10 30 a.m.

    This milestone event marks the unveiling of a Sh10.8 billion strategic roadmap by the Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute (KEVEVAPI), aimed at transforming Kenya’s veterinary vaccine production capacity, improving livestock health systems, and enhancing food security in alignment with the Government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

    Key highlights in the plan include doubling vaccine production from 35 million to 70 million doses annually to combat major livestock diseases including Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), Lumpy Skin Disease, and Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR).

    Code of Conduct for Media Practice, 2025 is a set of ethical guidelines for journalists and media practitioners in Kenya, revised to address contemporary challenges and ensure responsible reporting.

    It emphasises protecting vulnerable individuals, upholding accuracy and fairness, and combating misinformation in the digital age.

    MCK launched the revised code to strengthen ethical standards and promote public trust in the media.

    University students to address media on proposed Intergenerational National Conversation.

    The University Student Leaders Council, representing student leadership from universities across Kenya will address a press conference on the Intergenerational National Conversation.

    The briefing will articulate the unified voice of Kenya's university students on the urgent need for a structured, inclusive, and citizen-led national dialogue-one that centres the hopes, grievances, and aspirations of the youth.

    The dialogue brings together individuals from different age groups to discuss important issues and foster understanding between generations.

     It could involve engaging youth leaders, policymakers, and dignitaries to address topics like climate adaptation, youth engagement in governance, and electoral integrity.

    COMESA Trade and Customs Committee hold its 41 meeting in Nairobi

    The Common Market for East and Southern Africa (COMESA) will today hold the 41st meeting of the Trade and Customs Committee at the Golden Tulip Hotel –Westlands, Nairobi at 8.00am.

    Principal Secretary for Trade Regina Ombam and the COMESA Assistant Secretary General Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Kadah will preside over the meeting.

    The Trade and Customs Committee is a key body within COMESA, responsible for trade facilitation and customs-related matters.

    It plays a crucial role in implementing the objectives of the COMESA Treaty, particularly concerning the establishment of a Free Trade Area and a Customs Union.
